Zhejiang University est une prestigieuse institution d'enseignement supérieur en Chine. L'université Zhejiang University is a prestigious institution of higher education in China. The university was founded in 1987, and has grown to one of the largest universities in China. 

Scientists that collaborate with this whitefly project are from the Institute of Insect Science, one of the 120 research and teaching institutes in Zhejiang University. The Institute has 15 full professors and has been conducting teaching and research that span the full gamut from basic to applied and from molecular to ecological (for more information, go to: http://www.cab.zju.edu.cn/IAE/english/). In recent years, one of the major focuses has been invasion biology and management of invasive insect pests including invasive whiteflies and the viruses they transmit.
